Grand Circle Travel (GCT)
Grand Circle Travel makes the world accessible through trips that deliver unmatched discoveries, more travel choices, and comprehensive value. Our journeys take passengers beyond the major sites and into the heart of the destination. In a group of no more than 42 Americans, we break bread with local families, and go behind the scenes to see how they truly live and work. There is also plenty of time to explore independently and make the most meaningful discoveries.
Overseas Adventure Travel (O.A.T.)
Overseas Adventure Travel offers unique small group adventures worldwide by land and sea. We explore our paths with a local O.A.T. Trip Experience Leader, immersing ourselves in local cultures, sampling unique modes of transportation, and staying in authentic lodgings that reflect the essence of our destination. On our Small Group Adventures by Small Ship, we travel to the places that most other American companies miss to discover — far away from the tourist crowd.
Grand Circle Cruise Line (GCCL)
Our award-winning cruise division operates Grand Circle Cruise Line River Cruises. With itineraries designed to maximize cultural interaction, our River Cruises are the most value-rich way to traverse Europe’s waterways. Aboard our privately owned vessels, we visit iconic capitals and small towns, and on land, we experience unforgettable discoveries in smaller groups of travelers. It’s unique benefits like these that have earned us the title of “Best River Cruise Line for Enrichment” from the editors of Cruise Critic and among the “World’s Best” River Cruise Lines” in Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards for more than ten years.
Grand Circle Foundation
To be welcomed into another culture is an incredible gift – one that we receive everytime we travel. By reaching out and connecting with communities around the world, we learn to appreciate firsthand not only our diversity, but our commonality and the understanding we gain can be life changing.
Back in 1992, Alan and Harriet Lewis established the Grand Circle Foundation as a means to give back to the world that had already given us back so much. Since then, Grand Circle Foundation together with Alnoba Lewis Family Foundation, has pledged or donated $250 million for more than 500 projects in 50 countries, as well as closer to home in Boston and New Hampshire.
